Meet the Teacher

Mr. Francisco Guerrero

 Room 2 Ext. 727

¡Hola!,  My name is Francisco Guerrero and I am originally from Colombia. I studied at Kean University where I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I also hold a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in ESOL (English to Speakers of other Languages) from Concordia University.

I grew up in a large Colombian family, which in addition to me, included two sisters and four brothers. I was raised in a home nurtured of love, understanding, and affection. I am married and have one son.

My objective is to utilize the short time with the children to maximize their exposure to the language and to instill in them a sense of appreciation for the Spanish language and culture. In general, I am a very global person and I appreciate all cultures!

This is my ninth year working at South Plainfield District and I feel so fortunate to be part of the amazing faculty and staff from both schools, John E. Riley Elementary School and Franklin Elementary School.

I enjoy traveling and I like to share my experiences with my students and staff.

Cordialmente,

Señor Guerrero
